We believe in total transparency. Here's exactly what Orbify X collects, why, and how your data stays protected.
This Privacy Policy describes how Orbify X ("the Bot", "we", "us") collects, uses, and stores data when you interact with our Discord bot. This policy applies to all users and server administrators who use Orbify X.
We are committed to minimal data collection. Only data required for specific features is collected, and we do not sell, rent, or share data with third parties beyond what is necessary to operate the bot.

Orbify X never collects the following:
Message content is read in real-time only to detect the command prefix and parse arguments. It is never stored, logged, or forwarded to any external service.
All persistent data is stored securely in MongoDB. Data is organized into collections per feature (users, guilds, playlists, premium, etc.).
In-memory data (anti-spam tracking, cooldown states, playback queues) is not persisted to the database and is automatically cleared when the bot restarts.
The music system is powered by a self-hosted Lavalink node. Orbify X supports audio from YouTube, Spotify (metadata), and SoundCloud via Lavalink plugins.

Orbify X never records, stores, or transmits voice audio from voice channels. The bot only streams music from external sources — it never captures microphone input.
To protect the bot from abuse, Orbify X monitors command frequency. Users who issue 3 or more commands within 3 seconds are automatically blacklisted.
Spam detection tracking is stored entirely in memory and is not persisted to the database. It resets on bot restart.
Orbify X joins voice channels to stream music. The 24/7 mode stores the Guild ID and Voice Channel ID to allow automatic reconnection after disconnects.
Orbify X does NOT record, store, transmit, or process any voice audio. The bot only streams music outward — it never captures microphone input or user voice data.
Console logs include startup info, connection status, and errors — transient, not stored in a database.
An error_log.txt file captures extension loading failures (technical data only, no user info).
Cluster statistics (aggregated counts, no PII) sync to MongoDB every 30 seconds and are overwritten each cycle.
Message content, command arguments/search queries, user voice activity, and DM conversations are never logged to any persistent store.
User profiles may include: User ID (automatic), command count (automatic), bio (optional), and likes received.
Spotify Integration: Only the URL string is stored. Orbify X does not access or authenticate with your Spotify account.
Badge System: Cosmetic badges created by staff. Badges don't grant permissions.
Like System: Records liker ID, recipient ID, and timestamp.
Blacklist System: Users can be blacklisted manually by staff or automatically by anti-spam. Records store User ID and reason.
Auto-Blacklist: Triggered after 3+ cooldown violations in 3 seconds. Blacklist records persist until manually removed by Bot staff.
Giveaway data (configuration, participant user IDs, winners) is stored in MongoDB for the duration of the giveaway. Completed records may be cleaned up by staff post-winner verification.

Join our Support Server and open a ticket, or message a Bot owner directly on Discord. Deletion requests are processed within 30 days.
Orbify X does not knowingly collect data from users under 13 years of age. Discord requires all users to be at least 13. If we discover data from a child under 13 has been collected, we will delete it promptly.
